In October 2013 we received the Gold Award in the Bed & Breakfast, Guest House & Inn of the Year category at The South Devon Tourism & Hospitality Awards.

In October 2018 we were awarded the prestigious VisitEngland ROSE Award in Recognition of Service Excellence. This is an annual award that is only given to the top 100 quality assessed establishments in the whole of the UK.

At the end of January 2020 we were contacted by HotelsCombined to be advised that we had been awarded their 2020 Recognition of Excellence.This award is in recognition for consistently achieving high standards of customer satisfaction. Something which we are very committed to.

Since becoming the custodians of this lovely old house we have continued to raise the standard of accommodation and both the range and levels of service we provide. We have improved year on year and continue to strive to push all levels of our business ever higher, whilst still retaining the features and charm within the constraints that this lovely old house presents.

To our returning guests, we thank those of you who have offered kind words of support and encouragement, have recommended us to family and friends, and those who have made constructive suggestions on opportunities for us to improve or services we can implement. The owners of a Torquay hotel are celebrating double gold after winning two national accolades for outstanding customer service and hospitality.
